The Triple Tap Tapping Sleeve is the latest in the series of high performance, innovative products from Total Piping Solutions. Designed to save time, labor, and inventory dollars in the water and wastewater piping industries.

The Triple Tap features a several important number of distinct advantages, including a double range body, allowing for a substantial reduction in inventory. The Triple Tap Accommodates the tapping of steel, ductile, pvc, polyethylene and asbestos-cement pipes with one sleeve in a given diameter range. Standard sizes are available to 30” in diameter and special sizes to 48” in diameter are available upon request.

All Triple Tap Tapping Sleeves are pressure rated to an aperture seal rating of 250 psi, and the final pressure rating is determined by the specified flange.  The product line is available with a mechanical joint end (MJ) and all ends are rated at 250 psi.

Normally, sleeves specified with AWWA Class “D” Flanges are rated to the rating of the flange.  Flange pressure ratings may be referenced in the AWWA Standards.

Description

Fewer Sizes, Less Inventory = More With Less

The Triple Tap® Tapping Sleeve is the latest in the series of high performance, innovative products from Total Piping Solutions are designed to save time, labor and inventory dollars in the water and wastewater piping industries.

The Triple Tap features a number of distinct advantages, including a double range body, allowing for a substantial reduction in inventory.

The Triple Tap accommodates the tapping of steel, ductile, pvc, polyethylene and asbestos cement pipes with one sleeve in a given diameter range. There is no need for extra on-hand sizes to accommodate the local market requirements for hot tapping water and sewer pipes. (For use on polyethylene pipe, Triple Tap is only recommended for underground service. Contact Total Piping Solutions Inc. for complete information regarding performance and use on polyethylene pipe.)

The Triple Tap exceeds industry Standards, AWWA C223 and MSS SP-124-2012.

An opposing seal bead system on the upper and lower gaskets combines to provide a secure 360-degree seal.

The Triple Tap includes patented lug, shell and gasket design technologies which allow for enhanced performance, easier fit and less inventory.
