Hydro-Flex®: The Only Wrap-Around Repair Coupling
| The Hydro-Flex® is the wrap-around repair coupling. It is a repair coupling beause it has an end seal, it has a rated working pressure, and, unlike a repair clamp, the Hydro-Flex® can accomodate angular deflection. The body of the Hydro-Flex® is formed from 304 stainless steel. It has no welds. Additionally, the nuts, bolts, band material, gasket bridge plate, and gasket are mechanically attached with no glue. You won't worry about the gasket separating from the body. |
The Hydro-Flex® can be installed without cutting the pipe and is rated up to 150 psi in certain diameters. All work is performed from the topside of the coupling. You don't need to turn off the water or excavate under the break to fix the pipe. |
 The Hydro-Flex can handle misalignment, offset, and pipe end gaps of up to 9.5 inches. It also accomodates angular deflection of up to 6°. |
Light-weight and easy-to-handle, the Hydro-Flex® repair coupling has no more than 4 bolts on diameters up to 24". It has a pressure assisted, two-stage hydraulic EPDM gasket that is ideally suited for sealing on rough pipe surfaces. |
